2012 Goals
For the rest of 2012, with maybe some very, very specific instances (say, I find a My choice #7 girl , or to buy back Andrew), I will not be putting doll-buying on a halt.
I think that this is a good decision, for both financial reasons, and for me to grow accustomed to the dolls I currently have (also including those in transit). So, I am taking this opportunity to make a few (vague) goals. I am not thinking anything too specific yet, like who's wardrobe I'll work on, who needs what, etc, etc, but just general things I need to work on.
- Work on character profiles (incl. personality, traits + bios)
- Obtain correct wigs/eyes, and clothes for each character
- Faceups, faceups, faceups
- Photo shoot for -each- doll
- New photostories
- Make rooms/sets for photostories//removable
- Storage spaces for each doll's "belongings"//get more organized.
Just something short. Like I said, I'll be going more specific once I get around to breaking it down doll by doll.

Stuff Update
So....
I've sold/traded my Mirwen for Reck's body (actually it's her original C-line from back when Jak had her). I ended up doing a 3-way trade with Lyz (the girl who had Reck previously), and Kokoro-Chan (who had a JID that Lyz wanted), and since Ko asked me previously if I wanted to trade for her JID (I told her I love JIDs but wanted to focus on my immediate crew), so I am glad this is all working out ^__^
So I shipped her off today.
And Lyz sent Reck's body in the mail today, expected arrival of Tuesday.
I may or may not take some arrival photos...this has yet to be determined. I don't think I will, 'cause I rarely do it with second hand dolls, but I mean...this is frickin Reck.
And it's so like her character to just show up unannounced. I honestly wasn't looking to do her character right now, it was planned, but I hadn't been able to figure out what sculpt I wanted, or anything. So that's when I found Lyz selling who Reck actually used to be.
Now, you'll have to understand this to really...understand this. Lol.
About 3 years ago (maybe longer? I know it was before I moved to Florida in 09), I was looking to buy a new doll for my birthday. Half.Jak listed a Resinsoul Mei, which I fell in love with, and approached to buy. This one in particular, I loved looking at all the photos Jak had taken of her, I loved the personality she portrayed, and the name...Requiem, or "Reck" just made my heart skip a beat.
So I asked her, if it would be alright, that, along with the doll (Mei), if I could buy rights to use creative liberties with the character "Requiem" based off of her own. She said yes, and thus, sold me the rights to her character.
I had since made my Reck with the base of what Jak had given me, and turned her into something not quite the same, but parallel to her character. So she would then be my own, but, just have the same name and basis of personality.
So, later on down the line I decided, after talking with Jak that I wanted to reshell her into a minifee, because I was in love with the style and articulation of their joints. Jak said she wanted to do the same thing, so we sat around speculating.
I ended up trying out a Ryeon, which didn't work for me, then I tried a Luka, which was nice, but wasn't quite...it. I figured I'd keep on trying when I found something that worked better.
So, around the time I had gotten the Ryeon, Jak said she had gotten a Rheia to be her.
So, after a while, Jak sells the Rheia, and which ends up with Lyz, and then, of course, ended up with me.
So you see, I /had/ to get her when I found her. And that's partially why she means so much to me, because she /was/ Reck before, and she still is.
So I was laughing about how she "shows up unannounced" 'cause I really was only thinking about who I have right now, and who I have coming. I wasn't planning on diverting from that course, or getting any more, and pop...she just showed up :P

Shirt Swap; Toast's gift
So I got my gift for Toast from the Shirt Swap! They are from the lovely Prince-Malice who is someone I've dealt with in the past and had a lovely experience with <3
Well, she sent more than what was required, which was just a shirt. She sent me (Toast), a black and yellow hoodie, scarf, a necklace with a frog on it, a pin, and a bookmark. She also drew Toast on a little card she sent which I adore <3
