Currently What's Up
So, since my dolly family is generally ever-changing, I decided I wanted to post a little current status on who I have now, along with a list of who/what I am waiting for.
So, currently in my house resides:
- Volks F-01 on Suwaricco Body : Nameless.
I've had this doll since June of 2011, and I have not been able to come up with a name for her. For a long time, the Volks F-01 was an obtainable grail doll of mine, and, since I got her, I have been highly unable to name her, or find a personality to suit her. I bought her second hand (for an amazing deal, might I add), for my birthday, half from my Fiancee.
Her faceup is by Melancholy Kitties, and I think that's partially why I can't bond with her.
Her faceup is really, really nice, but the eyebrows are really thin, and overall, not my style.
I have had an extremely hard time convincing myself to wipe the faceup, or even have her sent out to get a new one done, by someone else. Part of this is because I know that Melancholy Kitties faceups are somewhat sought after, and aren't too cheap. And I can't get over the fact that someone else, the girl before me, had paid their money, to have this faceup done. So I can't wipe it. It's almost like a moral dilemma. I know I'd feel the same way if it was a really nice default to.
- Minifee Mirwen : Toast
This character has been in so many different embodiments. She started off as a WS Minifee Ryeon, transitioned into a WS MNF Miyu, then a NS MNF Miyu, and now as a Mirwen.
Personally, I think I might be more partial to the NS Miyu she once was, but I really like this embodiment of her now. It's just her lips throw me off, so I want to redo them. (redoing part of a faceup doesn't give me nearly half the anxiety as wiping a full one does). So I've added some pearlex to the lips. They're okay now, but I might redo that later.
- MNF Karsh (head) : Nameless
Karsh is supposed to be a slightly nerdy, slightly emo poet. He's really good close friends with one of my characters, Kief. More will be revealed about him later.
- Unoa L-bi (head) : Bradley
Bradley is Kiefer's roommate, best friend. Kief and Brad have been friends since they were small.
Once I get my hands on a headback, he's going on a MNF body.
He has a half-done crappy faceup by me. I hope to send him out to someone who can embody his character, since I am having a hard time getting what I want on his face.
- MNF Breakaway (head) : Lou
Lou is another one of my characters. Nothing has been revealed.
He currently has no faceup, and I am still trying to figure out what I want his face to look like.
Currently I have on the way:
- Dollshe Saint DS18M Pure, Fresh skin
Saint is (planned) to be a model of clothing similar to that of American Eagle (clothing brand). His character is also supposed to be heavily involved in his religious activities.
- Dollshe Bernard DS18m Pure, Paleskin
Bernard is (planned) to be a nerdy hipster of the ironic, iconic type. Yes, one of those guys.
He will be arrogant and pretentious.
- Minifee Marcia : Kiefer
Kiefer is one of the main characters in my plotline. Previously she was a Minifee Woosoo, but is coming back as a Marcia. She is best friends with Bradley, and currently lives with him.
- Minifee Chloe (head): ???
Originally planned to buy just a body for one of my boys floating heads (Karsh or Bradley), but seeing as the heads were not much more than the body by itself, I opted to get a head. Since I don't have any other immediate plans for any other Minifees (I have plans for unnecessary characters later down the line that happen to be a mnf), I decided to get a head that peaked my interest the most. It was a tie between Rheia and Chloe, and considering I've had a Rheia before (they're awesome), I decided to get a Chloe. There's a teeny tiny miniscule chance she might turn into Toast, since she was one of the original ideas of a Toast embodiment besides Miyu, but we'll see who wins the fight - Chloe or Mirwen. I might also dabble in trying to make a Chloe boy.
- Pukifee Pongpong
I've wanted a PKF Pongpong since they came out, but, instead, I got a Luna. Why? I have no idea. But I'm getting a Pong! I am so excited! I have no idea what I am going to do with the Pong, but I am going to love it!
I don't even know boy or girl, but it will be awesome.

New Blog!
So I've finally decided to start a blog solely dedicated to my BJD hobby.
It should cover, really, various things, such as which dolls I am waiting for/coming in, ones that have caught my eye, particularly in respect to characters I have yet to create, since my list is far from complete (will talk about that later, for now this is just an introduction). This blog also will cover things I'm doing to my dolls (faceups, sewing, etc), and may or may not cover actual character ideas or creations -- this is really up in the air, because I am planning on continuing doing my photostories, and I don't want to give anything away...so there may be some "generalness" to this one.
Then, as I just mentioned, photostories. I will hopefully be putting up an archive for stories already made (probably re-post them here, for more of an archival feel, since I doubt DOA will hold them indefinitely), and, if I am using this correctly, will probably be the first place I post new ones.
I hope, of all things, for this to get me back in track into my hobby. I love my dolls, dearly, but sometimes I need a little motivation to do something with them, and hopefully this will be it.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you enjoy my dolls ^__^

Mirwen box Opening
I ordered this girl in October as soon as I found out she was released, through DDE.
She arrived @ DDE on 12/23/11
And I sent my last payment (deposit) on 12/29/11
And she was shipped 12/30/11
She is the third doll I've ever ordered straight from the company.
She got here today~!
I had her shipped to my mom's house, since I live in an apartment, so any box too big to fit in the foot wide package space will either be left in front of the door (bad news S:...) or sent back to the post. So I figured I'd have her sent to my mom (she only lives like 15mins away).
Due to the new years holiday celebrated by the post office on Monday, the 2nd, there was a back log of stuff, because my mom's post lady almost always arrives at 12:00 like clockwork. So we hung out there...for 2 hours, before we saw a post jeep drive off. No package at the door. WTF? D: D: I sent my fiancee to track him down, and apparently a 2nd vehicle was coming around with all the packages.
So we went out and ran some errands, since it was said to be another hour @__@;;; and while out getting my college books, my mom called and said she arrived :3
So, when we got home~
I've had several Minifee in my time, but this is the first time I got one of these pamphlets :3
"And I want all of these"
I almost forgot I ordered her with her sleeping head...lol "wtf a head?"
So pretty~I told my fiancee I thought she'd make a nice boy too :P
(I took some nice pics of him admiring the head, but he asked me not to post them~)

I adore her! I am not a big fan of her lip color, but...I LOVE her eyebrows. -squee-
